This round up features yummy, mostly healthy holiday season food products!
I don’t know about you guys, but I go nuts for seasonal foods and flavors. In the summertime I’m all about berries and watermelon everything, and then I move straight into apple and pumpkin season in the fall, which blurs right into this time of the year. It’s the holly jolly holiday season, when I’m into peppermint & everything festive.
In the spirit of this yummy season, today I’m rounding up some goodies to enjoy this time of year. Let’s get to my list of holiday season food products to try!
Perfect Bar Mint Peanut Butter Cups
Perfect Snacks’ line of peanut butter cups are so good. I like to grab a pack of peanut butter cups late afternoon when I’m craving something chocolatey and need a quick snack. Their dark chocolate mint flavor is awesome this time of year when I’m into all things minty.
Why are Perfect Snacks’ PB cups better for you than your run of the mill convenience store PB cups? Each serving contains 7 grams of protein, 3 grams of fiber, and 20 organic superfoods – including kale, papaya, carrot, spinach and flax seed – and is coated in fair trade chocolate (also, they’re non-GMO certified).
Yasso Seasonal Greek Yogurt Bars
The popular frozen dessert bar brand has come out with three seasonal flavors: peppermint crunch, sugar cookie & pumpkin cheesecake varieties. At 120 calories & 5 grams of protein a pop, they’re a delicious choice when you want a little something sweet.
Goodie Girl Chocolate Mint Cookies
If you’re a cookie lover, Goodie Girl is an awesome must-try brand. Their cookies are gluten free, (they use flour made with oats, rice, potato and more), use sustainably sourced palm oil and chocolate, and are peanut free. Honestly, their cookies are borderline addictive!
Goodie Girl’s limited edition flavor is Chocolate Mint Creme, and their regular mint cookies are amazing (better than Girl Scout Thin Mints in my opinion!).
Trader Joe’s Peppermint Pretzels
Oh Trader Joe’s, you never let us consumers down when it comes to seasonal products. Their peppermint pretzel slims are a decadent pretzel that pairs perfectly with a cup of hot cocoa.
Lenny & Larry’s Holiday Complete Cookies
Free from dairy, egg or soy ingredients, high fructose corn syrup and artificial sweeteners, Lenny & Larry’s cookies are popular in the healthy snack food world. They’re a nice source of fiber and protein, and their holiday collection includes pumpkin pie (my favorite), gingerbread and peppermint chocolate varieties.
Skinny Pop White Chocolate Peppermint Kettle Corn
Enjoy guilt-free snacking with Skinny Pop’s white chocolate peppermint kettle corn, which has a subtle peppermint flavor. My toddler has been enjoying this popcorn with my popcorn-obsessed dog close by in the likely event that she drops a few kernels!
TJ’s Festive Tortilla Chips
While these tortilla chips don’t actually contain any ingredients that you wouldn’t find in typical chips, these Trader Joe’s tortilla chips come in festive shapes, like stockings and Christmas trees. They’re cute to have around your appetizer table during a family gathering.
Whole Foods 365 Peppermint Ice Cream Bars
Whole Foods makes some awesome ice cream varieties, and one seasonal flavor from them is their pink peppermint ice cream bars.
Siggi’s Pumpkin & Spice Skyr Yogurt
The Icelandic yogurt brand offers a seasonal pumpkin & spice low-fat yogurt. What I like about Siggi’s is that their yogurts are high in protein (around 15 grams a serving) while being moderate in sugar (around 10 grams per yogurt). Sometimes I throw some granola or cereal & a few chocolate chips on top of my pumpkin yogurt.
TJ’s Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti
I had to include something cranberry on this list! These seasonal cranberry pistachio biscotti pair perfectly with a cup of coffee or tea.

Ok, apparently a trip to Trader Joe’s is in my future! Those tortilla chips look fun, but the pretzels are totally calling my name!
