My active, healthy lifestyle is such a big part of my life. As a health coach, I love getting the opportunity to share some of my knowledge and passion about health, and to help support my clients in reaching their healthy living goals.
I believe there’s no greater feeling than feeling healthy & happy from the inside out! That feeling transcends into every other part of life. Making an active lifestyle a priority, feeling like you have the power in your diet, and coping with stress in healthy ways are some of the things that I work on with my clients.
Normally, I offer a 6-month health coaching program, where the client and I “meet” (via in person, Skype or phone) every other week to hold an hourlong session. In between those meetings, we often communicate via email, where I send motivational notes, informational handouts about things we’ve discussed, and answer any questions that pop up. My program is tailored to the individual, so I customize it depending on their needs and challenges.
While 6 months is thought to be an ideal amount of time to make healthy changes a habit and create a new lifestyle that can stick, I understand that committing to 6 months is a lot for some people. That’s why I’m offering a brand new option that allows you to become a health coaching client without diving right into a whole program: a 6 session package!
Just what does this offering include?
- An initial hour-long evaluation to discuss your healthy living goals & challenges, and to determine how we’ll reach them together
- 6- 1:1 hourlong health coaching sessions – either in person, via Skype or on the phone
- A customized health coaching plan tailored to meet your unique needs. This may include things like a meal plan, dinner recipe lists each week, learning techniques to reduce stress and be more mindful, working on developing a healthier relationship with food and weight loss counseling.
- Unlimited email support in between sessions
- Recipe samples, informational handouts, and inspirational notes to help increase your food knowledge & keep you motivated to achieve your goals
- If you live in the San Diego area, I also offer grocery store sessions where we shop together and determine the best buys to fit your needs; cooking demos; and pantry sweeps to evaluate just what you’ve got in the kitchen (and what you might need to get rid of!).

Tell me… What’s one health goal you’re currently working on?
I’m looking to improve the amount of time that I can hold a plank as part of a challenge that I’m doing with my HIIT gym. The zinger is that the plank has to be done with forearms and hands facing upwards, which I find so much harder! At the initial evaluation, I held it for 3:03, and I’d like to hold it for over 4 minutes at the end of the challenge in February.
