Hey, hey!
So, I’ve seen other bloggers do these “behind the scenes” and photo blooper posts lately, and since I don’t feel like blogging about anything that requires too much brainpower today, I figured it was the perfect time to do one myself. These photos haven’t made it into blog posts (well…until now!) for one reason or another. Many of them just didn’t make the cut because too much else was going on that day or week, and a few are a tad embarrassing. Here we go!
When I was recently baking bread I put it outside under the hot sun to rise, and Harley would not leave it alone. She kept sniffing it and I didn’t trust her alone with my rising yeast!
Anyone else try this TJ’s peanut butter & jelly Greek yogurt? I can’t really hate on anything PB&J, and like it with sliced banana.
Look closely… It’s hard to see but there’s a bird perched on my wine glass wall! Since there are a lot of birds around in my backyard and I leave my sliding glass door open a lot so that Harley can go in and out, a bird has made its way into my kitchen a few times since we’ve moved in.
In this particular instance, I heard Harley barking and came in the room to find a bird perched on my ceiling fan and my pup patiently sitting as if she was about to get a treat. It took awhile for him to safely find his way out as I squealed at him flying around!
I kept seeing chocolate dipped ice cream cones around and decided to try one. Verdict? Yum!
I caught this funny pic at the dog beach recently as Harley and her new buddy were running around like maniacs together.
This one was taken during our trip to Joshua Tree Park. I asked my hubby to take photos of me doing yoga poses, and I didn’t know until later that he also took these very zoomed in photos of me staring off into the park looking deep in thought. Ha!
Just some random pretty flowers on a recent hike.
This photo makes me laugh so much: my best friend Meg and me in Miami last month, clearly having a fun time.
Fun fact: I woke up the next morning still in this dress, with all of my makeup and jewelry on (which has not happened in years and years!). I also had dollar bills in my pockets and down my bra because the people at the table next to us kept throwing handfuls of money into the air. Oh bachelorette party wildness! Slightly embarrassing, but too funny not to share. 🙂
Snapped this shot of the yummy eats I packed when I was traveling all day recently. Justin’s almond butter is so good, but these little packets are so damn hard to eat out of – especially with hard pretzels while on a plane!
Recently we revamped one of our bathrooms, replacing the toilet, over-the-toilet storage thing, and repainting it what turned out to be a bright blue. However, it’s hard to make a small bathroom photo look nice so it didn’t make the cut in my weekend recap when we did the work.
Found this heart-shaped gem in the inside of a bell pepper while dinner prepping one night. Hey little guy!
A delicious bowl of fruit, with a very nosey puppy nearby!
Tell me… Are you a fan of Justin’s nut butter packs? Dog owners, does your pooch love to photobomb your shots? Ever eat a dipped ice cream cone?

My cats are exactly the same when I put bread outside to rise. They think it is some kind of toy.

Haha, that’s funny… Harley is very sensitive to any changes in her surroundings, so I think she was just intrigued by something new outside!

After reading about your love for Justins nut butter I finally broke down and bought some and Yes they are delicious. I Love them I just hate paying for indvidual items. I havent had a dipped cone in years they are ok but not what I would order If I went to an ice cream store. My dog doesnt photo bomb much but she is so hard to get a good photo of.

I know what you mean – Justin’s also sells big jars too, but they aren’t sold everywhere (and they aren’t cheap, but they’re worth the splurge sometimes in my opinion!).

Always freaks me out when I see those baby bell peppers inside a bigger bell pepper! It’s like an alien growing inside!

I know, I felt the same way!! It’s a little odd.

i LOVE these pic I totally wouldn’t have seen the bird until I read that he was there! and I love the pic of you at the park. Gorgeous.

Thanks a lot, Nellie! The bird totally is like a “Where’s Waldo?” in the photo!

I love those Justin’s packets, but yes, they ARE hard to eat out of! I just mainly use them when we’re traveling. Sometimes I keep a few in my purse for snacks, and I do make sure The Hus has some in his car and at work – along with some ww crackers – to snack on if his sugar gets too low. I love the maple one!

Agreed, I use those packets most when I’m traveling too. They are nice to stash around in the car and stuff too! At home I totally just buy the big Justin’s jars and then I don’t have to deal with the hassle of trying to get the nut butter out of the individual packet. Ha!

Dipped Ice Cream Cone is the ONLY thing I have ever eaten at Dairy Queen before in my life – and that was when I was 14 years old! OMFG SOOOOOOO LONG AGO, craziness!!!!!
I need to try and make my own version! Since I got the ice cream making down, Now I just need to figure out a chocolate “crust” of sorts!! 😀 The wheels are a turning!

What do you make, banana “nice” cream or do you use an actual ice cream maker?? I’ve been wanting to get one of those to experiment with!

I just bought Justin’s nut butter for blogfest! I remember last year wishing I had it for my toast!! I love all your photos. I think the one at Joshua Tree park is really nice!
