After taking a few days off from making green drinks, this morning I broke out my juicer to whip up a new concoction. The juicer is quite a bitch to clean (okay, I may be exaggerating here – it probably takes 3 minutes to clean, but it’s still a pain!), but I’m a fan of getting so much goodness in one little drink and starting my day off healthily!
I just lovvveee pineapple. It brings me back to my trip to Thailand, where I ate some of the fresh fruit probably every day I was there. This drink may look green, but all I could taste was a yummy combo of pineapple + orange. I’ll definitely be making this one again soon!
Pineapple Sunrise
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups of fresh pineapple
- 1 large carrot
- 1 cup of kale center ribs removed
- 1 navel orange
- A large handful of raw spinach
Instructions
- Combine all fruits and veggies in a juicer.
- Chill in the freezer for a few minutes, add a few ice cubes and enjoy.
