Hi friends!
Today was a busy, productive day full of work, errands and exercise. Now I’m hanging out with my little family, feeling content and quite tired. I thought I’d share 3 highlights of my day with you, hence my title, Three Thing Tuesday:
#1 –
When I woke up today, I found out that I’ve been accepted as an Ambassador for Girls Gone Sporty, a fun group dedicated to sharing the top products, trends, and ideas for advancing the fit and adventurous lifestyle of ”sporty girls.” The GGS crew looks for Ambassadors who embrace their tagline, ”Live the sporty life!” Women who work hard, play hard, compete, and eat, all with the intention of being their best, most positive selves. I feel that I fit this description pretty well, and I’m completely thrilled that the folks at GGS agree! I think this is a perfect time for me to become part of this great movement focused on living healthily and boldly. Once my injury fully recovers, I have some fun fitness goals for 2013 – so more to come on that! To read more about the Ambassador program, check out this link.

#2 – The second most exciting thing of my day: I finished my Christmas shopping, WOOHOOO! I took one last trip to the mall to finish up a few errands, and now I’m all set to go for gift exchanging with my family and friends. I can’t wait!
#3 –
I got a much needed haircut today. I chopped off 12 inches last year and donated it, and had been considering growing it out a bit longer and doing it again, but my hair has just been feeling too long and annoying. Even though I only cut a couple of inches off and got some layers done, it just feels much better.
Having my hair washed and scalp massaged, getting a nice trim, and having it blown out just felt like a welcomed, relaxing break from the busyness of my day. It made me think of how nice it is to indulge in life’s little pleasures, whether it’s getting your hair done, a pedicure, going for a quiet walk, soaking in a hot bath, buying a new dress for the hell of it, whatever. In the craziness of our lives, especially during the hectic holiday season, don’t forget to carve out a little ”me” time to decompress – even if it’s just a few minutes to meditate. Make yourself a priority, you deserve it!
Well I’m off to get some sleep, good night!

Yes indeed! I have a little decoration hanging in my office that reads, “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.” So true right!
Thanks so much! 😉
